Reflections, the 1st solo exhibition of David Stewart Klein, was held from March 6th to April 6th, 2019, at Blue 7 Gallery, in Santa Monica, CA.
Reflections dealt largely with psychology, using Kleins unique blend of expressionism, surrealism, and street art through narrative portraiture.
It featured a substantial retrospective wall, while the majority of the exhibition featured work made in the last 2 years.
The exhibition was the debut of his classic "Horrified in Red"(2018), and featured a series of large narrative paintings of surreal, dream-like quality resembling the compositions of Marc Chagall.
There were two musical events celebrating the exhibition, including two separate performances by his touring band, David Klein Trio, who played his original compositions. Featured groups included Sarah Di Maria, Stewart Tuttle, and Pat Cherry.
Reflections brought together some of Klein's best paintings to date, including "Freedom"(2018), "Horrified In Red"(2018), "Pained"(2012), "Lincoln(The past is gone..but it Never Left)"(2011),
