David Stewart Klein is a fine artist, photographer, filmmaker and composer working nationally and internationally with his production studio based in Los Angeles, CA. Klein and his studio: David Klein Productions are freelance, for hire for a diverse range of creative projects. 

In photography, Klein specializes in portraiture(people and creatures), city and landscape, and other complex narratives in historic, urban and domestic environments. Klein has a keen eye for capturing and immortalizing the essence of the emotional complexity of his muses, while allowing them to feel free, not being a “subject”.

For film, our specialties are short documentaries, music videos, narratives in creative story telling and also more avant guard work.
As a composer of 20 years, raised in a home of two touring classical musicians, one being the notable music director Kenneth Klein, Klein has a unique identity, being able to merge seamlessly multiple genres into one dynamic soundscape. His philosophy is around what is needed for the present project at hand. 

In addition to creating short films for over a 15 years, and photography for over two decades, David Stewart Klein has over 25 years of working in the visual arts and over two decades writing and editing music. This gives him a unique visual and compositional perspective when shooting subjects and creating and editing the flow of featured video content. Klein is also an effective communicator, understanding his clients needs and highlighting their personality and talents through his process.
